Many QR tools hand you a dynamic QR: the printed code only holds a short link back to their server, which then redirects to your real destination. That indirection is what lets them add scan analytics — but it also means the code stops working the moment your trial ends, your subscription lapses, or the company shuts the service down. The pixels on your poster are fine; the server they depend on is not.
